I grew up with a line of conventional farmers on one side and organic farmers on the other. I had the chance to make a direct comparison of the two systems as I grew up. When it came time to operate my own farm, I chose the organic route. For 15 years, I owned and operated a USDA Organic Certified, Certified Naturally Grown, and OCIA certified farm. I am an avid natural health and nutrition aficionado and was once a yoga teacher for special needs children. When others are reading romance novels and watching television, I am probably reading clinical trials, reading about the latest environmental news, or exploring the latest in green technology.
